"In 2010 I responded to a call from the 'Draw' group exhibition at Two Rivers Gallery with a body of work about the process of drawing rather than focusing on an outcome. My studio practice is based in drawing and I'm convinced that it is this process that provides the mediative space required to develop further possibilities - not necessarily in drawing". - Cat Sivertsen "Drawn" features 100 drawings of the same object from different angles, a sea shell, created using a variety of wet and dry materials. This is the first time each drawing has been publicly seen, as the original exhibition only showed the drawings stacked on top of one another to display them as merely artifacts of the process.
